Greetings from not sunny California!

Sad to have left NY... but nice to be in a nice hotel!! Mmmmm Sheraton...

Left NY at 4am after their hottest July 6th on record. 103 degrees. Have no idea what that is in celcius but it sure felt hot, especially with a hangover. Went to the Empire State, did a cruise along the Hudson and went for a 2 hour bike ride through Central Park. Loved that.

LA is cold. Disappointing. Spent some time wandering in Santa Monica yesterday then chilled out in the hotel until Darren arrived. Today we all (10 of us) went to Universal Studios. Wasn't quite what we were all hoping for. Not enough rides for any of our likings! Went out for dinner tonight with Darren and got told off by a patrolling police car - they seriously megaphoned us!! "Use the crossway" hahaha! Because we crossed in the middle of the road. Santa Monica is cute, but it will be good to check out Hollywood and Downtown LA tomorrow. The boys are leaving on the 10th and I'm joining my tour that night so we don't have a huge amount of time here. They partied rather hard in Vegas apparently...

Can't believe i've just found out about Choco - as if it didn't make the sports headlines here!! Oh, wait a minute, that's because all they cover here is Lebron frigging James! Apparently the whole of the USA were holding their breath in anticipation... if this is the case then the whole of the USA need to find a hobby! Geeeeeezzzzzzz!

Anyway i'm tired... it's almost midnight here. Darren and the boys have gone out for a few drinks but i passed. Need my energy for tomorrow :)
