Great speaking with you over the last couple of days. I'm bummed and jealous that the timing wasn't going to work to hook up with you, Nat, Mark, Vicktoria and the kids. We'll just have to try to find each other in Europe during the summer. Be safe! Gotta go now and post what business is going to close before the end of the week....... Ron

The pictures look great and I loved seeing Geronimo again - that old run-down beat-up geaser. Speaking of which, got any pix with Brant?? Keep the good times coming, er - I mean rolling!

Hi!
Natalie and Matt-great to catch up with you over the weekend. Can't believe you were only 4 1/2 hours away...wish we could have hooked up or re-routed the trip from New Orleans thru Birmingham...you would have liked the theatre I was performing at(could have got ya sky box seats, backstage passes and open bar...it would have been like being at a SuperDiamond concert with-out the music but a very funny Neil.) and actually been surprised as to how cool this city is.
Hope you had a good trip along the gulf coast. Nat-did you find a place that had beignet's or go to the Dungeon or Pat Obrien's in New Orleans? I think I still have an open tab at on of those places(:
Can't believe how much of the country you've covered already.
Looking forward to seeing ya in Cleveland around the 21st or 22nd. Sky box or front row? Who am I kidding...it's Christmas week-you might be the only 2 in the theatre(;
Safe Travels and belated Happy Anniversary...4 more years until we all meet back in Mexico?? ..unless you convince Katie to get married down there in the next three years(:

I have really enjoyed your travel log to date. I am living vicariously through your adventures!!! Thanksgiving sounded great - did Brant make you Slippery Shrimp? Be safe.

I vote for joining the protest! That's what I was doing at your age - well, actually, a little younger.

From Tuesday, Nov 22- We are currently in White Sands, New Mexico. We had another Grizwald incident yesterday- the s***ter pipe scraped the ground and fell off. (Don't mean to offend; That's what Cousin Eddy calls it.) Handyman Matt fixed it last night, so we are good to go!
We are off to sled down some sand dunes and then continuing to Brant's house in Dalles for Thanksgiving. We hope to see Uncle Pat and family. After that, we are off to New Orleans.

Matt & Nat...I can't believe after all these years of living in Seattle....and now back in LA....you visit Seattle. Ha! I'll have to wait another year before we see each other. Love checking out your adventure, although I am a tad bit worried about the accident prone mobile you seem to be traveling in...I am sure the vehicle has a mind of its own...for surely it can't be operator error, now can it? Keep the pics (despite the harrassment from Brant) and travel logs rolling!

woohoo...Preston Idaho eh? view of Canada eh? American Thanksgiving eh? Seriously, this whole working thing (which I'm sure neither of you are missing right now) is totally destroying my brain. Nat, the dr. and I went to a friend's birthday party/concert on Friday and we found you and Katie a punk band from Orange County that plays a punk pirate song plus some awesome punk rock versions of Lionel Richie's Hello and the theme from Golden Girls...totally awesome.
have a great Thanksgiving...and we're sending thanks for keeping us updated on your worldwide adventures. Say hi to El Burro and rev the engine for us a few times :)

From Friday, 11/18, 9:13PM Writing from Zion National Park. Tomorrow marks day 3 of the Utah National Parks tour: Capital Reef NP, Bryce NP and now Zion. While the weather has been nothing short of freezing, the absence of summer crowds, traffic and hikers have given us "ownership" of some of America's crown jewels -- if only for a few days.
Preston, Idaho -- home of Napolean Dynamite -- is 150 miles past the middle of nowhere -- so you can imagine how much fun Nat . . . I mean we had on that leg of the trip. The best part about Preston is the free RV parking -- that is, the Mormon Church parking lot behind Main Street. Off to AZ to visit my brother Carl, then to Brant's for Turkey Day! Hasta. M & N
