Hey Matt & Nat,
Sounds like things are as random as ever. I just spoke with my old roommate Jose Luis from Pamplona and he wants to meet us for the Running of the Bulls.... I hear it's hard to find a place to sleep, but he may be able to help us out. Karen and I are flying into Madrid on June 23rd....
Can't wait to see you both and live la vida loca.... haha

Sunday, April 30th, Copan Ruinas, Honduras . . .
Hola everyone -- we've just arrived in Honduras after a couple crazy days of travel . . .yesterday, for example, we took 2 boats, 4 buses and a taxi over 9 hpurs from the jungles off Rio Dulce near the Caribbean sea to the desert highlands of southwest Guatemala near the Honduran border. Tomorrow, we're visiting the famous Mayan ruins of Copan which are reknown for their exquisite stone stellae carvings.
We've had an incredible experience in Guatemala with so many highlights such as. . . spelunking + swimming via candlelight in Semuc Champey, spider+scorpion viewing in our jungle bungalows (yes, inside our bungalow, the spiders are as large as my palm), green and red parrot kamikazes (a pair flew right at our faces as we sat atop a Mayan temple in Tikal surrounded by endless jungle and howling monkeys), Tikal fireflys so large and bright that we mistook some for hikers with lanterns (yes, really, they are larger than silver dollars!), and, of course, the inevitable travel companions, some great (Brad and Selena, we had a blast and can't wait to meet up in Amsterdam and New Zealand) and others, well . . . let's just say we didn't pass along our emails. We're here for a few days so tomorrow we'll come back to post our Belize adventures. Hasta luego.

Ok, don't hit the return button early or you get blank messages. Lesson learned. Matt, before I forget, Josh wanted me to ask if you have sat in any chicle recently. You might want to send him a photo if you have one. By the way, I don't believe Lucky fell in a well full of sewage, there are no large palm-sized spiders (tarantulas) or scorpions or mummies in a cave or moving islands, in fact, I think your actually in LA still writing all this from your home and photo shopping yourselves into pictures you've found online. All these things are just excerpts from a book your writing titled, Travels with Gullible! Just remember, I called you out first! Seriously, keep pushing the limits and enjoying every moment. ProWitch Tours reunion in New Zealand! By the way were is my ProWitch shirt?

Hi Matt and Nat...
...ok, so I would have told them, yes, Dinosaurs did attack New York and quite possibly will be here at your island once they fly south for the winter(; ...then give a wink because the wink is universal for just kidding.
Happy Cinco De Mayo!! Figured you are celebrating somewhere a-top a mountain with palm size spiders and the 80's band the Scorpions. How random is that that they were staying in your tent with you....or did you mean actual scorpions. The crew is celebrating May 5th at Setha dn Jesse's....we'll set two empty beer mugs out in your honor!
