Gal's Exploits
So I leave Siem Reap tommorrow after having a nice relaxing few days away from the temples. We spent an excellent day with the Family of our lovely Tuk-tuk Driver Ly, drinking beer, eating and talking to the patriarch. It is unbelieveable how the people who have the least are so accomodating and welcoming. There were 10 people who lived in a small hut but everyone was really friendly and we even got adopted as honourary sons and given Cambodian names - mine being Sok Pol which means strong and clever ((don't laugh). After this we went to the local bar where I was serenaded in by the biggest cambodian lady I've ever seen singing karaoke. She proceeded to slap me on the back of my head to get my attention, say hello 3 times (as it was the only english word she knew) and then lick her lips at me. I was mightily scared!!!
Other than that have had some pretty monster nights out going back to the crazy disco and jumping around with the locals again and also randomly running into a lad who went to my primary school, secondary school, university and who's mum also taught me - very strange!! Anyway next stop Phnom Penh.....
