One of the big features of Kew Gardens are the amazing green houses, which they call "glass houses". Each glass house has a different plant theme. There is a desert house with cactus, a tropical house, and a temperate house. They are all huge, I mean really huge. My favorite green house was the tropical house because it had a great rounded shape. Inside it was very hot and steamy and the plants have been in there for a long time. Some of the jungle plants have wrapped themselves around the pipes and steel frame, I don't think they will ever be able to get them out of there if they want to change them.
There was also a special green house for water lilly. There were many different types of flowers and some giant floating pads. My favorite part was the little gold fish that were in the water that the flowers were growing in. When I put my hand in the water they nibbled at my fingers.
