Today we visited the Churchill War Cabinet rooms. We were given this electronically scripted guide that looked like a house phone. We used it to guide us around the museum. There were little numbers on important exhibits telling us what numbers to type in to the keypad. As we walked around the museum we saw the headquarters for their meetings while the bombing of Britton was going on. We also saw the room where they would sleep, and many other cool functional rooms. The man the museum was named after was Winston Churchill the Prime Minister during the WWII years. He was the reason that Germany didn't take over the world and the British held out through the extensive amounts of bombing. Sometimes during the bombings Churchill would stand on top of the building and watch what was happening to his beloved city. I liked todays trip it was interesting because I got to learn more about World War two, Winston Churchill and how he willed the people to thinking they can survive and win the war.
