We visited the rattlesnake and atomic musuem yesterday in Albuquerque and figured caught our first American bus. The rattlesnake musuem wasn't really a musuem, it had 20-30 rattlesnakes in cages. The atomic musuem was interesting and quite sobering, it featured replica case shells of the Little Boy and Fat Man nukes. We didn't get up to much in El Paso but it wasonly meant as a stop over anyway. We did however walk across the bridge in to Mexico. Within five minutes we passed an 'illegal' pharmacy', a gambling joint, and had a taxi driver say to us "You want a taxi to the p**** market" We politely declined. Believe I last updated in Austin so will start of from the next destination which was San Antonio. One thing I love about the USA is the live music and as Austin is dubbed the musical captical of the world it is no wonder that it has been the best for music so far. Forget South by Southwest, forget the Austin city limits music festival, its all about the BatFest baby. Arrived in Austin on Greyhound today. Have been looking forward to Austin for sometime.
