Technically I'm back in Albuquerque but I will explain that in a minute. A quick update on Santa Fe and then info on what is happening in the very near future.
On day two in Santa Fe we decided to look for a tent and hiking boots as we need both for the Grand Canyon and Yosemite. The first camping shop we had was selling tents for over $250 so obviously we gave that a miss but the shop owner was kind enough to direct us to a cheaper place. We keep landing on our feet and it is seeming like there is no hassle. I'm feeling really relaxed at the moment. We turned up at the recommended shop and bought a tent for only $20 and bought some cheap boots as well. Today we visited a Native American art musuem and took a walk down Canyon Road which is famous for art galleries. The road is quite long and nearly every building is a gallery. It is very pretty. On the way back we went off road and took a walk by the Santa Fe river which is in actual fact little more than a stream. We only booked two nights accommodation in Santa Fe but had a Greyhound booked for 8pm tonight. The first stop for the Greyhound was Albuquerque where we have a 5 hour lay over before we board again hence me updating from here. We arrive in Flagstaff, Arizona at 7.30am and get a shuttle from there to the Grand Canyon at 8am, hopefully the Greyhound is on time. We are spending one day at the Grand Canyon at a campsite and already have a greyhound booked to Vegas wehre we also have a hostel booked. Had my haircut today as I was growing a serious mullet. Eddie told me I now look like George Jetson, brilliant.
Crazies - Lots of crazies in the US. We were on the bus the other day and two crazies were talking about politics. One of them called Obama a commie and McCain a Nazi. Another crazy started talking to me radomly on the bus. Also we were at a bus stop 20 minutes ago when two guys sat down next to us a started smoking a crack pipe.
I've now uploaded a whole bunch of photographs.
