Jonathan & Anel's Travels
We've in a sleepy little town called Bishop, in the Owens Valley in California, on our way to Yosemite National Park. The only problem is that the Tioga Pass, which is the only road into the park, is closed due to snowfall. We're just hoping and praying that the pass opens later today, otherwise we will have to forfeit our pre-paid accommodation in the park and sleep in Lee Vining, which is just outside. We stayed in a lovely hotel called the Creekside Inn, in Bishop last night. The autumn colours here are lovely and we can't believe the difference in temperature compared to the scorching heat of Death Valley, which is only 3 hours away. We've really enjoyed our stay in Bishop, especially the piping hot open air jaccuzzi.
