We arrived here hot and sweaty after a 4 hour train journey. The train was a public one so was really cramped and gross with our bags squashed near us and locals trying to sell us anything and everything every 2 minutes for the whole journey. I was so glad when we got there. We walked around trying to find decent accommodation as a lot of it sucked big time. In the end we paid a local some small change and he took us down a few small windy streets which is where most backpackers stay. We found somewhere in the end it was so basic but we stayed for 1 night. The area was ok lots of winding narrow streets. We had some ok food and went to a bar. There was a lively market on and horse and carriage everywhere. We booked our transportation to Bali which was 17 hours on a coach the next day. So we had an early night ready to go Bali.
