Hi you two travellers, we have been following your blogs on a regular basis & have really enjoyed reading them. Your writing is full of observations & humour that could rival a Jeffrey Archer novel at its finest. Maybe a new career beckons when you retire in a few years, Eamon ? You both look disgustingly healthy & from what I can see in pretty good shape. Not sure about the skirt though Eamon (each to his own I suppose... ha...ha). Deb has actually thrown some of her old skirts in a charity bag which you are welcome to have a rummage through when we see you next !.
From the many places you have been so far Vietnam is a Country I have always longed to visit, it looks fabulous. The people are humbling, content & happy with the life they have been dealt. Ferrari World looked awesome, look forward to hearing more about that. The Suez Canal is a staggering achievement which must be mind-blowing to see in person.
On Webb front.
We are all looking forward to our Skying holiday inTignes over Easter. Deb as had two lessons at Hemel Ski Centre. She got on realy well & is now in a very positive frame-of mind for the Holiday. Craig is coming with us & still Downhill biking, his mate came off at Aston Hill, Aylesbury & broke his collar bone, a reminder of the extreme nature of the sport. Leigh is also skying at moment in Meribel, with his girlfriend/family. Nothing much more to report here apart from Watford being mid-table, an amazing achievement on a budjet of £5.00.
Have a great last few weeks, we have missed you both & look forward to seeing you soon. Probably need to set aside a day to catch up !
Love Andy, Deb & Boys xx

Hi there oh dear getting nearer to home but still got some exciting places to see. Suez canal today I think should be good. Weather here is super 20 degrees in March and garden coming on fine . We hope we do not get frost. Spoke to Charlotte a little while ago they are getting wxcited about coming here and meeting you at Southampton. I am going to ring them to find out what time they are open for them to meet you. went to see Mum at the weekend and she seemed to reconize me this time. Lots of love to you both Mum xxxxx

Hi both,
Great blogs - keep it up. Your inner talents are morphing into literary genius !
Sad your kids have departed but at least you have the real one's to return to.
Ferrari world sounds brill, however the 0 to 249kph in 4 secs ride is way way way out of my stratosphere although Leanne and Tom would probably give it a go.
Do try NOT to think about returning to work, it will only detract from your enjoying the last 2 weeks of your adventure.
News from home:
Tom bought a new car (Corsa 1.4L 2009 version).
Andy and Anne send their regards.
Forest scored 7 (yes SEVEN) at Leeds on Wednesday night.
I retire on March 31st.
It was The Budget last week. The Chancellor realised he couldn't easily collect the 50% tax for the super rich so he reduced it to 45% and to make up for it added £0.20 to the price of a hot sausage roll from Greggs.
Weather here is a balmy 18C although it touched 21C yesterday.
Karen misses you big time Wendy.
We're all in good health and Leanne comes home next Friday.
See you next month.

Just caught up with your last blog. Sand storm does not sound very nice _ but an experience. Glad you are still loving it. We are going upto St Albans tomorrow (Friday) to Viviens. Will see Mum, Charlotte Anthony and Paul. Dad is going to the football but I have not got a ticket this time. Will look again on Monday when we get back. Love to you both Mumxxxx

Catching up on your news and loving reading all your adventures, your insight to the different cultures and all the people watching. What a shame you did not manage to meet up with Andrea, it would have been a real bonus. I to have experianced a Singapore Sling at Raffles when I went to Singapore in 1998. I cannot remember how much it was but I am sure that it was expensive then, but loved Raffles. Keep sending the blogs makes really great reading. Lots of love Viv and Tony xxxxxx

Hi Eamonn aand Wendy, I'm pleased you're having a good time, although I'm missing my weekly visits. I look forward to lots of laughs when you get back. I've enjoyed listening to all your blogs, but I'm not too keen with you going around the beach with that skirt thing, don't be getting any ideas, maybe you're mixing with strange people on that boat. Listen to your drill on how to handle pirates, rather you than me. Love Mum x

Hi sorry to have missed you but you seam to have had an experience here, yes the traffic is chaos and I drive a tuk here!!! England is so polite in comparison. The wildlife is amazing, think monkeys in the garden and gorgeous birds, elephants and leopards, also snakes but have learned to live with those nottttt and the beaches stunning if you ever come back visit the south, Colombo is chaotic even by sri lankan standards. Keep the blogs coming and enjoy the luxury of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, so many amazing places to see and do. Emirates Palace and the new hugh mosque worth a visit in Abu Dhabi, everything that looks gold is. Dubai Mall with Burg Khalifa and fountains well worth it, you can loose yourself for a day in there, and try the ice-cream at Coldstone Creamery yum, stay safe me hearties x
Karen

Pete,
Great reports on KL, Penang and Sri Lanka. Just the right mix of facts, local conditions and humour. Keep it up !!
I take it that as your're travelling west you lose time and therefore an occasional day. Do you have any trouble adjusting to this?
News from home:
Cheap ipads? Try Tesco, only £49.99 on their website. Sadly they realised the error before I could buy twenty.
While we're on the subject Leanne lost her phone in Sheffield this week - bit of a pain.
Unbelievable match at the Bridge. The first time in my life I actually wanted Chelsea to win (and Tom). What's the world coming to?
Go Bananas has come out of retirement to take on Kauto Star in the Gold Cup at Cheltenham today.
Weather very mild: T shirt and shorts weather not far away.
