Monday Morning K and C are up early, but dont see each other. K walking the beach is surrounded by a pack of native dogs and while retreating to the safety of the resort sees a Buffulo on the beach, in the distance.
A continental breakfast is included with our accommodation and each morning a pair of beautiful Thai girls silently enter the villa and lay out the breakie on the large dining table.
Wendy appears still pale and opts for a quiet day around the Villa.
Taking advantage of the 11AM shuttle to Lami, Ca, C, K, S and B, head for town. We divide and conquer early and use Maccas as the meeting point. Ca, C, and K opt immediately for a footscrub and massage to start the day. S and B are more selective and spend a little time shopping before relenting and enjoying the pampering from a spa shop.
We lunch at a beachside resort - Watermark, swim in their pool, and dip in the ocean. The pool and ocean are so warm and three hours are spent cooling our heels.
Dividing and conquering yet again .. Ca and K opt for staying in town, while the others headed back to the resort. Fish nibbling and Foot massages were our indulgence that afternoon, and as these are the air conditioned shops, popping in for an hours respite from the heat was as attractive to us as the treatment.
Dinner that night was once again at the resort restaurant. Wendy was given anti-biotics by Katrina, after consulting by text to the medical practice where she works in QLD, Bought over the counter, the Augmentin Forte was Wendy's saviour and by the next morning there was a noticeable difference in Wendy's health. Phew!!! Drinking is back on the agenda.
