Then the Barman cracked up laughing and said YES. I have still got Brian's footprints on my shorts where he walked over me to get there.
Now that Brian was feeling better, we made our way back to catch up with the others. We looked at the multitude of boats in the mariner, and I got my copy of the NY Times to read.
We all had such a big lunch (and I think Libby is still trying to get through the ice cream), we decided to eat on the boat. Trish and Paul managed to walk the whole length of St Raphael to find a shop to buy some cheese and meat etc. They did a great job, though they could have saved themselves the long walk if they had used the one across the road.
While Paul and Trish were out, Cheryl and Dianne went to the lolly shop in the mariner complex. Fantastic place, about 300 different sorts, in their haste to taste all the free lollies and load up their bag they forgot about the price!!!! 32 Euro's later they came back, but they did taste great and we had whilst playing cards later in the night.
Trish & Marty, Paul & I played a great game of Euka. Of course, Paul & I thrashed the pair of them, and have been rubbing it in ever since. (we know it will be short lived)
Tomorrow, we leave for Cannes, apparently, we are late for the festival, so after I finish this blog I will send an email to Nicole to arrange catch up with her when I am in Sydney next.
