We left Samui by boat to the port of Chumphon, passing Koh Pang Ngan and Koh Tao along the way - as well as a little island called Koh Nang Yuan which we thought looked lovely and might be worth a visit another time. From Chumphon we caught a bus the rest of the way to Bangkok.
Bangkok was wet and rainy when we arrived but we managed to find some cheap digs for the night. We spent the following day going around the Grand Palace. Both Lisa and I have been here before but because of the weather and with it being the end of the tourist season - it was a good oppurtunity to avoid the crush of people and get some nice photos. We also booked a bus ticket to Cambodia, crossing the boarder over land and then on to Siem Reap.
