Moving hostels today and what a pain it was too.
I didn't have far to go but it was hot already at 10.00am and it seemed to take ages. But when I got there it was well worth the move. A much better friendlier hotel. Smaller but it had free internet, balconys to sit out on, great beds and good communial area. After getting myself sorted I made my way back into the city and to the Wine Museum in prepartation for my first trip tomorrow. It was brilliant and really interesting with the history of Australain wine, the varieties that are grown an where they are produced and at the end you can have a go at making you own wine interatively on a computer based on the knowledge you have learnt and read about through the museum. I produced an excellent cabernet red, of course!
Back at the hostel a few girls from my room were going out to see the opening of the Fringe festival and asked if I wanted to go with them, so afetr dinner we headed off. A part of the city had been closed off and it was full of street acts, comerdy, tricks etc, it was fun to watch and the atmospher was buzing. I couldn't stay out too long though as I was off on my first vineyard trip tomorrow and didn't want to be tired for that, so by 11pm we another girl and I headed off back.
