Today was an easy rest day. We all slept in and then the girls and I went on a trip into Normanville and Yankalilla.
Found the coolest park with exercise equipment, nearly the only bit of exercise I have done all holidays thus far.
Cruised the shops and had checked out the Yankalilla bakery. We are getting very good at judging bakeries and so far the best bakery award goes to Yorketown.
Stopped at an old church and cemetery fascinating looking at the old headstones. ( for me anyhow, spooked the girls who preferred to stay in the car)
Pete relaxed and recharged with some fishing today. One whiting, the only catch. We did try some squiding from the jetty this afternoon, but I think they were hiding away from the wind too!
The skies were pretty clear today. The wind still pretty strong.
After 3 days of beach camping we are
leaving the Fleurieu Peninsula tomorrow and head for the Limestone Coast.
Rapid Bay is definitely somewhere we would like to see again with less wind next time.
In all, the whole Peninsula is worth seeing the scenery beautiful maybe a trip back down in the future and take in Kangaroo Island also.
