Heather Wilson Just a reminder though, that WW2 actually began in 1939. The Americans did not come into the war until the attack on Pearl Harbour in 1941

Liz I totally recommend the Diamond Head hike. Lots of stairs but the view is incredible. At the base of Diamond Head is an open market too. Next to the Hale Koa Hotel (near the Hilton Village Resort I think) is the Army Museum. It is small but very interesting. If you go to Pearl Harbor, I recommend getting the audio tour narrated by Jamie Lee Curtis. It is an incredible experience.
