Just sat down in front of gate 83 where my flight to Charlotte, North Carolina will be taking off. The airport was no where near as complicate to navigate as I thought. This is a great feeling! I love the feel of getting on a plane and the independence of this whole experience. I haven't been on a plane since I was 13 and my mom and dad took my brother steven and I on a trip to salt lake city, Utah. Definitely have never traveled somewhere alone or landed without someone on the other side expecting my arrival. I can't wait to get in the air. Thank God for my iPhone. Without it, I wouldn't be able to keep myself so entertained. I downloaded Scott Pilgrim vs. The world and put it on my phone for the flight.

My mother took my grandmother, grandfather, and myself out to breakfast at cracker barrel before dropping me off at TPA. Had a great time with them like always. Going to miss them if I end up coming back to NC for grad school. A hot button topic with them. They spent basically all morning trying to convince me that I am young and ignorant to the world. That I should stay in Tampa. Well, I am young and very ignorant about traveling and the rest of the world. How will I ever know unless I leave? I love you guys! I'm going to go get Starbucks.
