I haven’t really got that much to say about today, other than that we have been own to Kaikoura Airport today (which was actually more like a clubhouse!) to witness Sharon Barnes do yet anothet crazy thing….pilot a plane.

But, it wasn’t any old plane flying…it was aereobatic plane flying!!

Honestly, I can’t really tell you that much about it, unfortunately, as Paul and I had to observe from terra firma, as it is illegal to take passengers in the back of the light aircraft when you are flipping around the air and doing loop-the-loops, and what-have-you!!

All I know is that, Paul and I were stood on the tarmac, Mum got into the pilot side of the plane, it flew away, (it went quite far away, so unfortunately, we were unable to see everything that was happening from the ground!), but what we did see was some crazy palne flying going on!! I saw the plane go in some very unusual directions, indeed, to say the least!!

And then, it landed, and Mum was buzzing about it, and said that she felt like her stomach was somewhere in the air still! So, from what I can gather, it was thoroughly enjoyed by Mum, and I was very proud of her for flying a plane! (And managing not to cause a disaster at the same time!!) Go Mum!!
