I have been trying to see the World for my entire life and in an attempt to do just that, I moved to the UK in 2005. I haven't succeeded in taking my round the world trip as yet but have travelled a fair bit; I remain hopeful that I will get there, one step at a time.
In this quest for Geographical enlightenment, I hope to find personal and spiritual enlightenment too. As such, I have decided to embark on a new view, a new outlook, a new me if you will. I can't put this off any longer and I certainly cannot continue in the same vain, it is not useful or even healthy to do so. If I stagnate now, I will remain closed and let's face it Anais Nin was right when she said: "Then the time came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom". So let this be the very first day of my taking that single step - then the journey is begun.
I hope this journey will help me to find out just exactly what it is I want to be when I grow up! Come away with me?
