Cambodia is a bit of a blur as I was quite ill for a few days but the things I experienced were really good. Started with a new tour of about 15 people. Seems to be mostly girls and couples. Went to Siem Reap and to the Angkor Wat temple at sunrise which was amazing and had a look round the temples, one which was in Tomb Raider apparantly. Wasn't sure about Hong Kong when I first got here but it's actually a really cool city. People are really friendly and more people speak English here so it's easier to get around. There are some quite run down buildings but also some really nice up market places, especially where all the finance areas are and there's a lot of posh looking westerners. In Guillin there is a small town called Yangshou out in the countryside. It is the most amazing place, even though it was cold and wet, but I loved it! There's just mountains and rivers surrounding the town and it's so beautiful and peaceful. My favourite place so far. Went on a bike ride through the mountains and had lunch at Farmer Tang's house. Got to Xi'an City, still very cold. Went to a restaurant the first night and tried loads and loads of different dumplings. Went to see the Terracotta warriors which was really cool. They have 3 massive pits which they've uncovered and the one has 6000 soldiers in. They were made 2000 years ago for an emperor which is buried and the idea was to put all these underground to protect the emperor. Travelled up to Beijing from Shanghai on an overnight train, which took 13.5 hours. Let's just say that was interesting! Went to the Summer Palace the next day, which was really good.
