Wasn't sure about Hong Kong when I first got here but it's actually a really cool city. People are really friendly and more people speak English here so it's easier to get around. There are some quite run down buildings but also some really nice up market places, especially where all the finance areas are and there's a lot of posh looking westerners.
It's so much warmer here, even had an ice-ceam walking round Victoria Park and it was nice to sit down there with the birds singing and everyone having picnics even though it's right in the city with all the sky scrapers around.
Went up Victoria Peak on the tram which is so steep it actually looks like the buildings are leaning when you go up. The views from the top were really good even though its always hazy.
Also went to Hong Kong space museum, kind of just for the sky show, hoping it would be like the one I saw in the Natural History museum in New York. They have a big domed ceiling and project onto that and show you the stars and planets and stuff. Was good but not as good as NY and I nearly fell asleep because it was dark and the seats are reclined:)
There's good markets here for fake stuff but it's not as cheap as I thought it would be. The food is also not as good as China. I do quite like Hong Kong and is a good place to come if you have loads of money.
At the airport now, which is huge! The tour ended here and it was quite sad saying goodbye to some people, but I'm really looking forward to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam!!!
