Anyway, a good place to stay in Alice is Alice's Secret. Great people, also very helpfull with tours.
Just be carefull of the Ab's there....

By the way I had a crap journey back to Melbourne - I fainted on the plane and collapsed into the aisle!! Have no idea why (it wasn't the five pints of grog).

Good to hear you like Darwin so far. Deckchair Cinema is amazing with a stunning sunset. Be there on time and take loads of ...(what's that called again??) well, you know stuff so the mozzies won't bite you.
Have a lot of fun on the night market 2morrow, I had great times there. Especially when Em Dee is playing.

Am very jealous of all your WA adventures - crocs and all. I have never been up that way but the colours and the nothingness just enchant me. I just came back from Oz myself - letting boy meet all the rellies and showing my bump to mum [did you know I was up the duff, due end of Sep]. Gav and I drove from Melbourne up to home [Griffith, 7 hours with a bit of a detour see an aunt at Deniliquin] and he was amazed to see how the landscape changed from green rural Victoria to dry, yellow and brown emptiness. Glad he found it beautiful though too. Darwin will be sure to freak you out - I found the locals a bit like the cast from Village of the Damned ... Everyone seems to be there for a reason rather than having the great idea of 'let's go live in Darwin'. That said, there's no place like it on earth and that's a reason it itself to go! You're looking good and keep on going!

hi viv hope your well. i know exactly what you mean now, about auckland. im stuck they wont let me out!!!! nah had the flu and a bit of a chest infestion for 2 weeks so i thjought it best to keep low for a while. i blame all the fags you forced down my neck in raro haha!!! shame i missed you in new zealand but i was confined to my bed with no energy unfortunetely.. hope ure having a blast in oz, only 2 weeks tomorro and ill be there for 2 weeks hopefully soaking up the sun and drinking a few hundred vb's. i love the pictures in raro specially the ones with pinky the alco. that was a special night!! sheep or inflatables, i just cant seem to make up my mind, but i suppose they dont answer back so its all good!!!! hope you dont mind but i sent ure link to a few friends so that they can see how nice raro actually is. thanks viv had a great week with you, take care love sion

The hostel you must go to is called Gecko Lodge. (www.geckolodge.com.au; free phone number) . If I were you ask for room 18, best one in the whole building. Do make a reservation cause I just had an email from Marcel (Dutch owner) and it was pretty busy.
How are your tarots card going by the way? Forgot to ask that every time.

Your little car was very cool indeed. I had one just like that on Magnetic Island, seeing it brought back a lot of memories.

It's pissing down here - it's been relentless for the last three days. Hope it clears up for the BH, I'm not up to much, but it would be nice not to have to wear wellies everyday! Need some SUN, may just have to grab a sunbed session.

What a sight that pink fella, love the cars, love the photos, I think I might go on a holiday. Oh thats right I go tonight. Leaving at 10 for Hong Kong and China. I am so excited. It was great hanging with you in Raro! Thanks for sending me the link, and for letting me see your fun photos with Pinky :) Pinky just hasn't been the same since we got back. Like me, he/she/it seems so...you know...deflated :) Maybe Pinky will gain some air when we take our next trip. I leave SF today, and Simon and Nicola are coming a long for the ride to Reno. They're going to hang at my house for a couple of days and then it's off to Yosemite, Sequoia National Park, Las Vegas, San Diego, Ti Juana etc... I sure wish I was on a trip like the one you're on. You are so fortunate, and lucky me will be back at work on Wednesday, wah, wah, wah :) Well, take care and I look forward to really exploring your web page.
