WHERE VIV'S AT...
What a surprise, so here I am - The Cook Islands (for those who have no idea where these are, think south of Hawaii and East of Fiji - think paradise island in the South Pacific). Well? Wouldn't you escape the cold when faced with 170 pound return fare? And technically I've not really left New Zealand (well that's my excuse for whimping out).
So, I left Auckland at 10pm on Wednesday 26th April and arrived in the Cook Islands at 4am on Wednesday 26th April. Yep, I've crossed the International Date Line so I've got the 26th April all over again - it's my Groundhog Day. Oh and now instead of being ahead of you all back home by about 11 hours I now find myself behind you in time by 11 hours. It's all very confusing but if anyone can tell me the winning lottery numbers I'd be very grateful.
I'm here for 2.5 weeks and what does one do here? Not much I think... a bit of snorkelling, a bit of sunbathing, a bit of swimming, maybe some diving (depending on cost), some trekking, so fishing and obviously some drinking. Oh, and Erica's here too (said you'd see her again).
Bye all until next time - I've got some hot weather to catch up on.
