We made it to Ho Chi Minh City! The flight seemed to take forever but several movies and a couple of champers helped to kill the time. What is it about customs and immigration officials - Australia or Vietnam - they just don't smile!

The trip from the airport to the Duxton hotel where we are staying was nothing short of amazing. All those mopeds diving in and around cars and other road traffic - how is it no one gets killed. Apparently the trick to crossing the road is to walk slow and never step back but maybe we'll try that tomorrow when we are a little more with it.

Off to explore and get a bite to eat.
