hellooo again, this blog is a little late but ive been very busy lol... right now i am in cambodia sitting in the dirtyest internet cafe its gross lol,.. but cheap and fast connection.

natalie and i landed ib bangkok in the early afternnon, it was raining which sucked so kinda put a downer on things. so anyway we went to collect our bags and honestly nust have looked like the worst travellers ever lol... i couldnt even lift my bag on my back without nearlly falling iover and getting a huge bruise... the locals thought it was hallirious.... made a note to remove half of its contents. lol!

we arrived at the hotel later afternooon ... it was lovely lol not covered in cockroaches and bugs like i expected lol... infact i was pleasently suprised... hostels are perfectly comfortable.. dont know what all the fuss was about lol...told you i could do thisdad!!!

that evening nat and i ventured out onto the streeeets of bangkok... it was mental i swear there are no such things as driving lanes or traffic lights ... motorbikes and tuk tuks were everywhere.. id say i nearlly died about 3 times lol.... it s so amazing compared to home youll just be walking along and c 20 men sat ontop of a bus or a familyof five comforably perched on a single moped lol.

we ended up going to a plave called khaosan rd.... now tis was exactly how i imagined bangkok to be...little stalls and hundreds of people from all ovetr the world crammed into nthis narrow street. there were also make shift bars everywhere just plastic chairs and a cart of spirits and beer...seems like anyone could open one... we experienced several beverages at about 90p each..fantastic lol.

i also had several thai men offer to make me a wedding dress, 1 proposal which i declined as he was a little short lol o and i also brought my first braclet ... all travellers must have tat around their wriss it seems, i nbow have 4 lol.

for dinner we chose to do it the thai way and had pad thai which is like noodles and veg stir fried from a side cart it was 45 Baht about 90p ... was lush and no tummy upset-bonus!!

roof bar - we went to this rele nice roof top bar where this thai looking irish guy was playing acoustic guitar abnd weston songs..was brilliant., it semmed to be the travelllers hang out .. met lots of ppl are wearing baggy trousers with matted hair... may give this look a miss but time will tell lol.

ended the night by calling the boyfriend, not a good move, more tears ... but hey -absense makes the heart grow fonder

so that is basically my first day/night in thailand... i have learnt that there was no need to actually pack anything as i can get everything here for a third of the price and that this trip is going to me hugely difficult but sooo exciting!!!
