Hello!!

Well we are in Thailand! its beautiful, the surroundings, beaches, views are like nothing we have ever seen! We flew into Phuket from malaysia and stayed at Patong beach. It was great, the beach wasnt fantastic here but the town was great and we did a really good tour out too the James Bond island (man with the golden gun). You will see on the pics how stunning it is! Also while we were in Phuket it was the Thai new year so everywhere in Thailand has a 3 day water festival! its crazy! We got there on the second day and you cant even step out of your door without being completely soaked so our site seeing that day didnt happen! within minutes we ran as fast as possible to buy a super soaker and join in the fun! it was so great because everyone gets involved, people were even soaking security guards and police, shop keepers, taxi driver and no-one cares!! we played out for about 4 hours but then i started to get cold and had no skin left on my hands from being so soaked - so we went in for a while and later we got soaked again! so much fun! We also saw a great show in Phuket called Fantasea. the show was great and dinner was ace!

From Phuket we went to Ko Phi Phi, its meant to be one of the most gorgeuos places in the whole of thailand. Unfortunatly it was one of the places that got hit by the Tsunami in 2004. The views and the place was so beautiful but we didnt like the town at all. it was tiny and just so packed with tourists you can hardly move! the beach and streets were covered in rubbish to and the whole place smells awful! its such a shame because it could be magnificent. We did a boat tour which took us around Phi Phi and we saw all the bays, beaches and caves and it was stunning! We also saw the beach from the film "The Beach' so i have to watch that when i get home!

After Phi Phi we went over to Krabi and stayed in a place called Railay Beach. It was great  here, we had lovely accomadation - oh i forgot to stay what made Phi Phi worst is our room was gross, loads of huge cockroaches everywhere, bugs everywhere and the stinkiest toilet you could imagine. it doesnt have a flush so you have to pour water down it to flush it, we had no hot water and dirty bed sheets and probably bed bugs!! ahh!!!!

anyway Krabis place was lovely, we stayed right on the beach, had a lovely CLEAN room and met lots of lovely people there! we did a tour where we spent the day kayaking in all the caynons, through mangroves and had lunch on a little beach. At the end of the day we did elephant trekking, they wewre so cute! and huge! We made lovely friends on that trip who we spent the next day with. Christian & Laurel from canada, Olivia and Telisa from USA and Anna & John from UK!! The boys did a long hike and climbed up caves the next day and all the girls went to the beach! It was lovely. 4 hours was the longest time i havent seen matt in 5 months too!

So now we are in Koh Samui, only arrived last night so havent done much yet!
