Hello Everyone,

how are you all? we heard its a bit cold in England! Rubbish! Well we have reached our final destination in Australia, we are in Cairns!! We arrived at the start of the week but we have been up to Cape Tribulation for a few days. Its a huge, beautiful rainforest, its the oldest rainforest in the world too. 16 times older than the amazon! pretty cool! On the way up to cape trib we stopped at the daintree river where we went on a crocodile cruise and saw about 4 crocs, mostly baby ones. From Cape Trib we also did our Great Barrier Reef trip YAY!!! we spent the day snorkelling off a boat in the great barrier reef! It was incredible! the coral and the fish were beautiful and the water was so clear! we have wanted to do this trip right from the start so it was such good fun! The place we stayed in Cape Trib was a bit scary, there were thousands of spiders everywhere, in the room, in the toilets, in the pool, everywhere! and some where bigger than my hand - you will see on the photos, matt took so many of spiders and bugs!

On the way home from Cape Tribulation we stopped at a lookout where you could see the island where steve erwin did, very sad! then we stopped at Port Douglas which is so lovely, its full of cafes and little shops and has a great little port. Unfortunatly we only had an hour here but still it was great to see.

Today we are back in Cairns and we just browsed the city and saw the lagoon. Oh i almost forgot - last sunday, when we first arrived in Cairns i did a bungy!!!! AHHHH!! it was the most scary, terrifying, horrible but exciting thing i have ever done! Matt didnt want to do one, neither did emily and stuart so i went up by myself! i wasnt scared to start with but when i got my bungy on and woddled over to the edge i saw how high 164ft actually is!!! i never panicked so much and in my head that was it - no way am i jumping off this platform! So anyway for about 20mins i wouldnt let go of the bar or the man and i just cried and asked him to push me off! he wasnt allowed so in the end i just went for it! the falling part was great, so much fun, then you bounce up again about 5 more times and spin around loads 2! great fun in the end - just the jumping off part that is difficult!

Anyway anyway we are going bk down to Sydney tomorrow for 2 days before we fly out to Singapore - How exciting! so next time you look on our site we will be in S.E Asia!!! YAY!!
