It is now 7.35am, having now been awake for nearly 24 hours I am beginning to feel rather tired. I started to fall asleep in the car, but then soon got distracted by the sight of food, so subway called me.
Now back on the road on our way to Gatwick, and while I write this we are on the M11, and the boys are both in the back with their headphones in, it's rather peaceful. Not much traffic, smooth journey.
I can already see myself missing home a tad too much though, just the thought of being away from home for 15 days is very touching - but I am sure we will have such a brilliant time in Egypt, there is just so much to look forward to and to do!
All around me I can see signs to London, we are getting closer and closer to the airport, it's feeling so real. Looking forward to queuing to get my flight tickets and then the tension of getting through security while worrying whether or not they're going to beep at you for no reason so everybody can stare at you like you're a criminal.

It is now 8.16am, and we are in a huge queue just to cross the dartford bridge, been here for about half an hour and moving very slowly, but hey money is at the ready ;-) not far now to go till we arrive at the airport, looking forward to checking in!
