This morning me and Bec went to the port to see if us, Eric, Alice and Brent were all on the same boat. Turns out only me, Bec and Eric were, but Brent and Alice were on 2 other boats separately as well. :(
After that we tried to find a place to eat breakfast but it seems the cafes here only serve drinks and all the croatians have as part of their diet is drinks and cigarettes. We ended up sitting down at a gelati place but it was the grossest gelati ever! Me and Bec thought we were give up finding food so decided to head back to the hostel but on the way we spotted people with fruit shopping and managed to ask someone where they got it from. Turns out there is a big market selling fresh produce so we ended up buying a box full of fruit for Bec and her special dietary requirements (shes a vego and wheat intolerent, I think I ended up being fairly healthy in Croatia due to her haha).
After that we walked back to the hostel to get our bags and saw some people leaving. Mark was heading back to the UK, Craig to Rome and also Liz, Anna, Time and Sherryn who were heading to somewhere else in Croatia. We said goodbye to them (again) and then headed to to our boat called Providnost. We got on and realised we were with 26 girls and only 2 guys. Eric was in heaven for a bit until he realised they were about 20 years old and heard the conversations they were having. 17 of the girls ALL know each other. I swear the noise they made was amazingly loud/annoying and their conversation was something out of the script of Clueless.
We had lunch served on the boat then we had a lie down on the deck + swimming time. It was really relaxing and the Adriatic sea is CRYSTAL BLUE. We then docked in Makarska and me, Bec and Eric had dinner with Brent and Alice at a restaurant called La Piazza. It was really good as well and the seafood platter was even better than last nights. I had a green tagliatelle (pasta) with prawns and scampi.
After that we all got gelato for dessert and then walked around the wharf to the markets. Me and Bec both bought a lilo for the boat. We then trekked out to the Cave Bar (a bar built into a cave) and had a look inside for about 5 minutes before leaving because we were just tired from the day.
