My name is Vickie Mason, I am 29 years old and recently decided to embark on a trip of a lifetime visiting Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and a brief trip to Bangkok.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I have had a long ambition to do this long trip since the last 12 years of my life have been a little rocky.. however I am happier than ever right now and this trip seems like the right thing to do!

I will be away for 3 months, first visiting Singapore on 5th January. Flying to Cairns on 9th January. Travelling down east coast until I reach Sydney. I fly to Christchurch on 28th February. Travelling around New Zealand for a month and then fly out of Auckland end of March to Bangkok then home to London Heathrow on 1st April.. (No April fool :) )

I will not be working along the way but do plan to visit some work colleagues in Singapore and Australia.. This is purely a pleasure trip...

My plans for Singapore;
Visit the Night Safari
Take the cable car to Sentosa Island and visit some amazing art/science museums,
visit the marina to watch the water light display plus sample some of the local foods available

Activities I will try in Australia;
Diving off the great barrier reef
Sailing off Whitsundays
Learn how to lassoo real cattle by completing a Jillaroo course (Thanks for the money donated by Harley-Davidson Europe)
Visit Fraser island and Agnes Waters
Steve Irwins Australian zoo
Surf lessons at Surfers Paradise
Walk the Sydney Harbour Bridge
maybe visit bondi beach

In New Zealand;
Plan to visit Kaikoura for some whale watching
up to Nelson and work my way down to mount cook and the glaciers for a walk or possibly a hike or climb
Queenstown for a few drinks and to take on the highest bungee jump in the world.
then down to Milford sound to do some sea kayaking along the tranquil rocks and take on the Milford track "the finest walk in the world"
then I will take a little trip back to Queenstown for more site seeing splendour.
Back to the north and heading to Wellington, then up to Waitomo caves near middle of New Zealand North Island to take on black water rafting in the caves and see the glow worms hanging from the cave cliff's
a visit to Rotorua hot springs to soak up the hot mud pools "LUSH" (I hear my friend Laura saying)
Then going to spend a lovely week with my friends Chris and Jane Sloper just south of Auckland...possibly cycling and watersports
Before I fly into Bangkok for some touristy fun... maybe a visit to a ladyboy show or something :)
then home to meet all my lovely family and boyfriend to tell all my adventure stories...
