We arrived at Angra dos Reis after the two hour ferry from Ilha Grande to find out that the bus from Angra dos Reis to Partay was a public bus for two hours. These public buses are like the ones in England but they seem to have no limit in the amount of people that were allowed on the bus - but for R$9 (£3.50) you couldn't really complain.
So finally, we arrived in Paraty. Paraty is a small historical town full of cobbled streets - i has a kinda South France feel. On every single corner they have cake trolleys. Its very hard not to be fat in Brazil everytime of the day is cake and chesse time - getting kind of sick of it now.
Our new hostel, is quiet nice a bit quiet but still good. That afternoon we just went for a walk around and to the beach for coconut water and to watch the sunset. That evening we had dinner (it was disgusting) in this little bar with cool live music - even though food was s***.
Time in Paraty was all about relaxing - we walked around the historical centre and went up to see some waterfalls everything about the town was lovely. Over the weekend there is an arts festival so we are going to check out the art on the streets.
On Saturday evening, the main art show night there was a beach party that we all went to. in the main square they were showing animation art - so we decided to do a bit of a pub crawl which resulted in only going to one bar and playing table slaps all night drinking GABRELLA (think thats hows you spell it) very odd drink but does the trick!!!
I wish the weather was nicer whilst in Partay as there were some lovely beaches to go and visit but it wasnt beach weather. On the Monday we left for Sao Paulo - Sanne was going home and I was off to Iguazu.
