At my first weekend here in New Zealand Sue and Bruce took me up to Te Anau. We stayed with close family friends who own a B&B in Te Anau. We will be going camping with them in our summer holidays. They were really nice and we had a lot of fun. We arrived at saturday night and on sunday we watch of course the rugby because you can´t miss it when the All Blacks are playing:).
After that we went to the Glowworm caves. We had to take a boat tour out to an island where the caves were. We had again an amazing view. The cave was quiet impressive. We had to walk a little bit into the cave before we went on a very very small boat to see the glowworms. It had to be completely dark and silence when we were near them because they react to light and noise by switching off.
