We haven't watched a whole lot of TV since we have been here, but there are a couple of programmes we have taken a shine to. One is called The Gruen Transfer, a panel show of Advertising industry experts that analyse advertising from around the world, in a light hearted, amusing way. Each week the show challenges two advertising agencies to sell the impossible, such as global warming, holidays in Baghdad, lowering the drinking age etc! Each agency creates an advert and the panel decide on a winner.
Last week's challenge was to create an ad campaign to stop Australians swearing. Tough brief! In particular, the first advert really made us laugh, so we thought we would share with you!
I have to warn you, there are LOTS of naughty words, but both are clever and powerful in their own way.
