jane Hi John, What great stories you have written - are you in England now? I am here until April 13th....
re: Dingle, IrelandLinda and John Can't believe you are coming to the end of your journey - so many sights and so many stories. Can't wait to hear more someday soon. Must have been a real culture shock - Asia to Ireland - especially hitting it on St. Patrick's Day. Safe journeys and till we chat soon.
re: Dingle, IrelandChris Ahhh so jealous! your trip looks amazing so far guys, I have been living vicariously through all your pictures!
re: Surfer in Brandon BaySandy Drummond Hi Ververs, really enjoyed your blog about Bangkok and Ireland--what a culture change for sure. My Irish friends in So. Ca. traveled to Ireland (and many pubs) with their early 20's son and daughter and sent us their photos on a DVD with accompanying Irish music and it is indeed a beautiful country and I wished I had traveled there when I was traveling in England in Scotland. Have a fun time for the last leg of your trip in England and all the best to the girls as they begin their next travel adventures. Bye for now from Christina and Sandy.
re: Dingle, IrelandWill (eeee) I really like the way you guys travel, you cover the spectrum. You’re willing to indulge in comforts (sounds like you’re from the House of Windsor hiring 2 porters & 2 guides for a group of 4) yet often overnight in foul accommodations. You hire drivers one day and hike for miles the next. You overnight in a polluted city and find yourself in the isolated mountains the next day. Well-travelled! Well-rounded.
re: Kathmandu, NepalDad and Lynda Thank you for yet another very interesting blog. John, you are amazing. I still think your next project should be writing a book.Take care. We miss you all. xoxoxoxoxo
re: Kathmandu, NepalLinda and John What a juxtapose of experience - I was shaking in my boots just reading about you drive back to Goa airport
re: Goa, IndiaLinda and John So happy to hear you connected with Rohini - I am sure your visit to Mumbai was special with her as a host. Really enjoying your tales
re: Mumbai, IndiaSally Palolem was one of our India highlights too. So restful and beautiful. I'm glad you got to enjoy it!
re: Goa, IndiaSandy Drummond Hi Ververs, Christina and I are really enjoying your fascinating travel commentaries and photos. Your city taxi adventures remind me of the chaos of driving in tuk tuks in Bangkok. Just returned from sunny, hot relaxing Hawaii for two weeks to escape the rain and snow in Vancouver, so enjoy your time south on the beaches of Goa. Safe and fun travels ahead!
