Yet again writing this on the train to Munich after a couple of days in Bled.
It was a horrific night train. Can't lie about that. Truly horrendous. But there are benefits of a night train to be had, when you get to be around lake bled at 6 am. Photo evidence as you can see.
It's by far the most beautiful place I've ever been. The water was as turquoise as it gets and you could see for about seven foot into the water. The water was relatively warm as well, ideal for a swim. All around the lake was so nice and well maintained, by a mile my favourite place so far. I knew it would be.
Even though I had about an hours sleep. I was wide awake as soon as we got near the lake. Them two decided to sleep like a pair of tramps under a tree but I went for a walk around. I'll remember that for a while.
After checking in and walking around the whole lake we were shattered and starving, so we went for a pizza before a first swim in the lake. The pizza was cracking and the water was amazing.
We just went for a beer on the first night. But we were too tired for a sesh so decided to have an early night.
Jamie fell on top of jack in the morning, through the bed breaking several timber beams. It was hilarious and I think our Chinese roommate took a photo of it.
Yesterday was boat day! After a hearty breakfast we rented a rowing boat with the intention of rowing to the island. We eventually got there after a route that resembled an f1 race track. It was so good being out on the water, I love boats.
As it was so nice outside we just decided to get in the water for another swim for the rest of the day. I reckon I could live in bled.
I also saw some huge carp. Three 30lb plus fish I reckon. If I ever go back I'm definitely gunna have a dabble at the fishing. I also saw some huge chub as well.
After a kebab and some meat in a cup. We went out to the same bar as the first night. Strangest place ever. Some shocking dance moves and even worse hairstyles. Weird Slovenians.
And now I'm on the train going through Austria. Scenes are awesome. Wish we'd have done some more day trains as the scenery is too good to miss out on.
Till Munich and The Tent.
Silver and Gold.
