Norway Fjords! 8th-10th of August
Geiranger: Said our sad goodbyes and headed off. Drove through Musk Ox country these are very scary animals that look like Bison! I thought I saw two up on a hillside. Drove to the Trollsteign an incredible road that winds up a vertical cliff. It was SCARY! Looked at the veiw from the top! Got to Geiranger. It was absolutely INSANE it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! Found a campsite on the shore and had dinner. Afterwards walked up to a lookout, the veiw was incredible! But a wee bit foggy. Next day drove up the pass behind the village it was even more impressive than Trollsteign because it was twice as high! Found a veiwpoint and took the postcard photo! At the top there was a lake and beside the lake was snow, beacause we are crazy we got in and froze for a photo! It was FREEZING! Drove past many waterfalls and tunnels 70 in total for that dat including 2 ferries! Drove through the worlds longest tunnel it was 25kms long!! Very boring =]. Next day drove south saw the famous waterfall Vorringfossen! Scary! Went to the Preikestolen climbed up but no veiw as very cloudy and foggy. I was glad of it when I hung my legs over the side for a photos and couldn't see the bottom 600metres below especially scary as no rail to stop you falling mum doing a lot of worring! Got to Kristiansand and got ferry to Denmark. 3 hours flash boat, got dinner on boat, youth hostel when arrived.
Denmark!
Next day left Hirshals drove to the very tip of mainland Denmark and Europe. At this place called Grenin you can see where the Baltic sea and the north sea collide. It was so strange seeing two seas coming from different directions and hitting each other. Saw a fighter jet go over head! Went to war machines museum Liam and Dad looked round it I slept because sick =[. Drove to Horsens along through Jutland! Lots of windmills, crops and barns for cows! Next day spent doing nothing at all apart from relaxing!
