I loves water I do, which is just as well as the majority of my time on this trip has been spent either in it or on it. Today we are off whale watching, now you dedicated blog followers may be thinking why are they doing whale watching again (as we have already done this in NZ). This time though we are going to see different whales, in NZ we saw Orca Whales (small black and white ones)in Australia we are going to see Humpback Whales (big black and white ones) Simples! Set off in the rain from Hilarys Harbor (no change there we always seem to go on boats in the rain) and after 20 minutes came across our first whales a mother and calf who decided to swim around our boat and put on a bit of a show (it was brilliant). Then a bit later on we noticed a lot of splashing further out so the boat took us up to "Crazy Whale" who was just spouting water and then lifting his tail out of the water and splashing it back in. This he did for about 5 minutes (I have decided it must be a he as women whales I am sure would have no time for messing around in the morning - they are probably doing breakfast and getting the kids ready for school and housework etc.......) Managed to get it all on video which Nick promptly accidentally deleted!! This evening we went out with Christian, Andrew and Anne for a goodbye meal which was great fun.
