Well if Carlsberg did Rugby Tours this is how it would go!
1. You will have a nice lie in and then head off for the local supermarket to get some food (in pajamas as there is a huge queue for the showers!) Irene Van Dyk (GS for New Zealand - the Dan Carter of netball!) is holding a netball shoot out competition at the butchery department to win a fresh chicken! I won't lie I was a gibbering wreck and missed the first 2 goals (Taranau girls remember not to put me in as GS when I get back!) You finally manage to get a goal in and get a picture as well as a free chicken!
2. You will have a long lost friend in New Zealand called Julian who will find an Ex Navy Patrol boat parked in Wellington Harbor for you to spend the weekend on complete with all imaginable navy accessories. It was like a mix of Dai's Dragon and a dressing up box for grown-ups. The boat will be covered in Welsh flags and balloons and renamed HMS Gatland! The boat will be surrounded on two sides by pubs and will be alongside the walkway from the rugby fanzone to the stadium for maximum exposure!
3. You will go to the Welsh bar in Wellington which will be full of welsh people singing all the welsh classics before setting off for the Rugby World Cup Quarter Final Game. The rain stops whilst the game is on and Wales defeat Ireland in a fantastic game to secure a place in the semis (Auckland here we come!)
