Had a lovely breakfast on the decking overlooking the harbour before setting out on a whirlwind tour of Coromandel beaches. Started with the best, Cathedral Cove which is where they filmed "The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe". Unfortunately you can only access the cove when the sea is out and it was in whilst we were there. There is access through the arch but it is taped off as it is unsafe. This however did not deter Nick or Tasha who climbed under the tape and walked through the arch I had no choice but to follow them! I would however like to stress that I had no option but to follow them as I would have got lost left on my own (they broke the law not me!) Whilst at the car park we bumped into an english guy we have met a few times since being here which has made us all think he must be stalking us! Meeting 1 was at the quiz (not strange!) Meeting 2 was the following day at football (1/2 hour away from where we have been staying so a little bit of a coincidence!) Meeting 3 today 2 hours away from home in a carpark (scary!!) After Cathedral Cove we went to Hot Water Beach which does just as it says on the tin you dig a hole in the sand and it fills with boiling hot water although we were lucky to find an abandoned hole which they had ingeniously managed to get a hot and cold water feed into which made the temperature just right! And finally Cooks Beach before heading back to the beach house for more jigsawing (still not finished and it never will be haha!)
