Today we are off to Tian An Men Square and the good news is it is not snowing, the bad news is it is blowing a gale and is about -5. I was pleased the snow had stopped as getting about has been quite hazardous. The snow hazard however has now been replaced by the new hazard of people sweeping up leaves they are everywhere and so are their brushes!! Now for some reason the Chinese do not like leaves on the pavements and today there are a lot of leaves due to the high winds hence the lot of leaf brusher uppers. I cannot understand why they are so fixated on this when their public toilets are the dirtiest I have ever seen and I have been to Delhi!! You can smell them from 2 miles away if the wind is blowing in the right direction. If I could write Chinese I think I would write to the local council voicing my opinion. Fortunately for them the only chinese symbols I know are www. Hello Seren and Love?? Don't think this will be enough for a letter of complaint somehow!
