Christian's Little Jaunt
Hey everybody, how are we on this fine Saturday evening? Well, about half 7 Saturday morning for most of you so you'll maybe read this when you're up and recovered. Bacon sarnie was it?
Great week, but not for the Boy Bongo. Photographic proof of his broken hand in the ...Lagers album. We're racing down the boardercross yesterday, and he decides to try and clear the third roller by launching off the second, a decision I think he regrets right now as he got nowhere near. Result - full bodyweight on his right hand. Verdict - snapped tarsal, cast for 6 weeks. Could've at least been the left eh Bongo ;-)
There's been a few legendary nights out recently, everybody on top form. The most recent one was no exception, Thursday - photos of that and this week in general in the Lagers album. By the way mumsy, have I got any afro-caribbean in my genes, 'cos my hair is getting REALLY big?
We went to Have a Shot today, the adult equivalent of one of those whirly whizzy activity centre things which you buy babies from the Early Learning Centre (and then they play with the box it came in and ignore the 30 quid educational aid you've bought them, tsk.) 0.22 rifle and clay pigeon shooting, sponge-ball battlefield, mini-golf, golf range, archery, etc. New photo album with pix on, was dead fun. With the .22 rifle shooting, you aim down a 20 metre mini-corridor, one eye shut, finger gently on the trigger, cheek against the smooth wood, controlled breathing. You feel like some kind of assassin...slower breathing...concentrate...squeeze...POP!...damn, missed it.
The clay was awesome, but we didn't get to shout PULL! like country gents, instead just stepped on a pedal to release "the bird" (got the lingo.) Then it was mini-golf. Which was won by the Canadian against stiff competition from the French, English, Irish, Japanese and Welsh representations.
All in all, top stuff. Love n kisses, C.
