Laundry done we ventured out for another day in Rabat and a breakfast of all the extra food Rach ordered yesterday.....an admin day to organise some plans on travel.....visited tourist info......well a man who spoke English and had a map......shared some mint tea by a roundabout....classy....but in absence of the not so park that was on the map it was a good view east.
Lunch in the medina was very nice.....well the bit that Baz didn't throw on his trousers.....we then pottered through the streets and back to the hotel via a 'milkshake' stop and then a game of cards...or three or four...or seven! At least we are refreshed!
Whilst playing cards we heard some chanting in the street and went to look....more rioting.....civil police and the army dealing with.....but today we were educated that it is to do with a lack of jobs....lots of people limping now...
An evening back in the Old Medina and we finally took the plunge and devoured camel-face dinner! Well, not quite...the stall next door sold a mixed vegetable grill in bread so we opted to keep our bellies intact for now! Last nights mint tea was so good we went back for more to wash down our fresh donut (still maxing it up on the carbs!).
Rabat now covered we are packing our bags ready for Fes tomorrow and in hunt for a good tagine!
