We both woke up thinking that we might be exhausting Fes by staying yet another day but we took a walk outside of the town upto the hills overlooking the town and the countryside...it was beautiful but when we tried to take a walk to explore some random huts but we got turned around. We have sorted our transport to Marrakech (a night bus...bonus is we now don't have a nights accommodation to pay for!). We saw the real parts of smelly Fes today and clearly trod where tourists don't as we had a lot of very funny looks and no hassling! It was nice to just wander though.
A relax in the local park watching trains of caterpillars climb trees to build nests was fascinating and then a trip to a local cultural photography gallery and women's rights conference followed by a concert was probably the most fascinating thing Baz has ever been exposed to (unlikely!). And then it started to rain...fingers crossed it will soon return to sun although it has been pretty sporadic all week.
You may have noticed in the photos that we are donning very expensive looking rings...don't fret...you weren't missed off a Moroccan wedding guest list...they save a lot of hassle and ensure that we don't get turned away from accommodation!
