Out time in Pulau Weh was incredible. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at our beautiful bungalow. Just incredible views and super clear blue waters.
While we were there we did a lot of snorkeling. One time when we were snorkeling we were startled as we looked to our to our right and all of the sudden there was an 8foot long huge moray eel. Bright yellow with black dots. We were both fascinated and a bit scared at the same time. We had our underwater camera with us and couldn't manage to take a photo because we were so intrigued as well as trying to keep our distance. He didn't look so happy to see us. But he swam away.
Ty is an official certified diver now as he completed his divers cert here in Pulau Weh. Whoohoo! So very exciting ! He did very well through all of the tests and exams on his 3 day course.
The people on the island were extremely friendly and provided great but slow service. Haha. However it was interesting that even though we were at a island beach Michelle was still unable to wear just a bikini swimming or regular full bathing suit for that matter. She quickly found that out as she was laying on the beach and had multiple groups of people wanting to get a photo with her lol.
As we explored the island there were monkeys just hanging around, a lot of goats and cute baby ones too as well as geckos which we like a lot !
As we said our goodbyes and headed back to Banda Aceh we decided to take the slow boat which is cheaper than the fast one we took there however it was with more locals as well as cars, motorcycles etc. made for a more interesting ride.
Found a nice lounge at Banda Aceh airport which was great because we had 5 hours to wait. For $10 we had comfy couches, food, drinks and Internet access. Not bad.
On our way back to KL (kuala lumpur )
