Hi again I have just arrived in London on the 6:45 AM flight from Denver. I have fortunatly brought the right currancy which is pounds. For one kg of cheese made localy it costs 7 pounds!! Thats $11.11 or almost $5.00 a pound!!! I will be taking a famous London double decker bus to my hotel. I will drop my bag at the hotel because check in isn't until 4:00. The weather here is hazy and a light drizzle of rain. This is day one of my trek across Europe. So far in London i have ate a Ajo Blanco. An Ajo Blanco is a dish in London that is the size of an egg cup and has a soup made from almonds. It was a delicious treat. I have found a hotel to stay in and it should work for the time i am in London. Here i will be visiting the city of London its self to seee many of its atractions like the Big Ben, the London Eye, And the Tower of London. I will also be visiting Stonehenge. I will get there by leaving the Waterloo station and arriving in Bath. This is a two and a half hour train ride. Bath is a gateway to Stonehenge as well as a very cool spa and architectural town. In this town is the Royal Cresent. At the royal cresent i learned that citizens responded to a window tax, which was intended to tax the rich, By taking out windows and placing in stone. This should be very cool. I will be seeing you in Denmark. Cheerio! The bath temple was built between 60-70 AD and the actual bathing building was slowly built up over 300 years. Stonehenge was built by the Druid people. It is an incredible to think an ancient group could build something so huge. After visiting stonehenge i took a train back to London. I will then fly to Copenhagen Denmark.
