I have been talking to Jim Acquistapace's secretary Lisa Alphin about your travelling from Los Angeles to SF. She has advised me that there is a very cheap Airline (Jet Blue) who fly from LA (Long Beach Airport) to Oakland in SF.
Oakland Airport is in Jim's way back to his House in Berkley so it would be easy for him to pick you up and take you to the house.
The Greyhound is about the same cost as the return flight but, the route the bus takes is very dull and takes a whole day. Give it some thought.
You can probably get a Jet Blue price from the Internet.
I'm off to Dorchester tomoeeow morning for the Dorset Show and Mum's coming down to join me on Sunday and help me take the tent down. Hows Fijii? Warmer than here I guess with lots of coconuts?

Ooooh it all looks a bit cold in NZ - still Fiji should be a bit warmer I guess! It's all about to kick off here at Uni - students back Monday so I'm off to York for a conference - great timing eh? Hi guys, Great to read your journal and see all your amazing pictures, cant believe how quiet Warsash is without you. We will certainly know when your back. (Cant wait actually it is rather wierd going to pompey without you Fleur!!!). Well what can i say about back here in the UK. Nothing much has changed, although one thing tat i just have to tell you, I GOT MY WEDDING DRESS!!!!! it looks sooooo amazing, but you cant see it until the day though. (sorry that was a bit cruel!!). Fleur we will need to go bridesmaid shopping when you get back (How exciting!). Getting a bit scared about my OP now but as long as they knock me out enough then I dont care what they do once i am under!!!. Anyway thats it from me, just glad to see you are both so well and enjoying yourselves so much. Hi Karen,
Thought you would like to know that I survived a week-end on my own while Mum was in the Wall of Cornishness, and, have now repaired the Boat so it no longer leaks! Have built a road trailer and now just need some warmer weather to get some fun out of the thing!
Will you be updating your travel entries soon - must be quite a lot to update us on!
Temps in San Francisco are in the mid 20's ar present, but, I guess that will feel cold after you have been to Fiji and Hawaii!
