Another exhausting but wonderful day. Caught the ferry over to Vassoy Island where my father lived. What a beautiful island. This is the Norway that he told me about so many years ago. Water that is crystal clear and little islands dotted around. Sharing this day with even more relatives was a very emotional moment in time. I shall remember this day for the rest of my life. I didn't realise that my fathers family also owned another little island next to Vassoy. Jan went for a swim, but the water was too cold for anyone else. Caught the ferry back around 7.30pm and then Bodil drove us to a Stavanger Harbour to see the replica Viking Swords. It certainly capped off a most memorable day.
