So here we are,

August 5th, Wales is our current destination and emotions set to extreme excitement!

As you can probably tell from our dashing photo we are recent graduates of Swansea Met UWSTD, it's been a stress filled three years and now it's time to kick back and relax - But where i hear you scream.

THAILAND is the destination, three weeks is the duration and backpacking is the chosen lifestyle for the three weeks. It all came about a bit 'spur of the moment', personally i love that (Jay) but Cath is a bit more level headed than myself, we compliment eachother pretty well!

We headed to Cardiff to our good friends in STA Travel on Cath's birthday to celebrate with a trip away! After getting very soggy we headed back down the M4 with a return flight to Bangkok and one hotel for the first 4 nights...The rest we will make up as we go along!

This isn't our first asian adventure, three years back (before starting uni) we did an organised tour from Bangkok to Singapore, again through STA, it was a great adventure but it was somewhat restricted for a few reasons and we missed alot of the delights that south east asia has to offer, this time around we won't miss a thing (temptation to sing Aerosmith is overwhelming)

So here we are, two weeks until departure date and not a thing ready - Where are my swimming shorts and do i have enough boxers... Oh it's a hard life

We'll check in again before we leave, the main reason for this blog isn't to become 'internet famous' or 'travel gurus', that's not likely to happen, the reason is to keep our family and friends up to datewith what we're doing, while we are there. It saves us sending a tonne of emails and spending all our cash on phone calls, we'll update this with exciting happenings!
