We're back! Thailand is still one of my favourite places to travel, and Lipe my favourite spot in Thailand.

We came over on a very long, slow ferry in the afternoon and were dropped off on the wrong side of the island after some fairly dubious passport control. This meant having to drag our bags along a dirt track for about half an hour in the blistering heat to get to Castaway, a beautiful collection of bungalows on the quieter side of the island.

Predictably as soon as we had checked in we made the 10 second dash to the water and spent a very happy afternoon there.
